QUICK INFO / FIRST IMPRESSIONS
NAME: Dante.
CANON: Make the Exorcist Fall in Love
AGE: Unclear, probably somewhere in his mid-late 20's.
PROFESSION: Exorcist, technically a Catholic priest.
VISUAL: A dude. Medium height (~5'9"/~175cm), good but unremarkable build. Blonde hair down to about shoulder length, green eyes with prominent lower lashes, has a large scar down the right side of his face. Usually sports a neatly-trimmed goatee. Defaults to dressing in some variation of black slacks, a form-fitting black shirt, a trenchcoat or jacket, and leather shoes.
AURAL: Has a medium-toned voice. Tends to speak a little tersely, without much inflection and edged with an irate growl when something grates at his temper. His delivery mellows out a around people he trusts, or when circumstances allow him to relax.
OLFACTORY: Clean and nondescript, with a slight whiff of standard aftershave. Individuals extremely sensitive to spiritual matters might catch the a slight tint of holy water and salt.
DEMEANOUR: Generally gruff and somewhat surly. Comes across as somewhat irreverent towards the church despite his profession, and tends to play loose with the rules of his faith. However, he's deeply faithful and dutiful beneath that careless presentation, devoted to his job of fighting evil to protect people. Slow to warm up to people, but once he does, his demeanor mellows out a bit and he's even capable of smiling once in a while.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Yes! He'll shake off anything coming from people he doesn't trust, but once he starts warming up to people, he'll permit it without comment and maybe even reciprocate at times (head-pats, back-thumps, arm-grabs, etc.)
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes! MtEFiL doesn't do exact powerlevels, but exorcists seem to have generally elevated physical abilities; Dante is fairly resilient and can take a pretty good beating. Anything on the level of scrapes and bruises can be assumed without discussion. For anything on the level of broken bones or more severe injuries, please ping me so we can discuss first!
RELATIONSHIPS: Yes, but it will probably be extremely slow burn. I do read Dante as (closeted) gay, so M/M only, please. Please feel free to ping me if you're interested in exploring something in that direction!
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Dante is able to sense demonic presences (and in RP, probably the presence of similarly evil-coded supernatural beings). Conversely, those with spiritual sensitivity can probably clock that Dante is decently spiritually powerful and aligned with a 'holy' presence. He doesn't really have any other abilities or safeguards when it comes to psychic abilities.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Like many other exorcists in the series, Dante is able to call upon a 'miracle,' i.e. a power. His miracle specifically allows him to control salt, in reference to the biblical story of Lot's wife being turned to a pillar of salt. Via his miracle Dante can do things like create shields/projectiles made of huge slabs of salt, instantly rust metal, poison somebody's blood with fatal levels of sodium by making contact with their bloodstream with even a small portion of his salt, etc. As his powers are granted to him in order to fight demons, they have no effect on humans; even his big salt projectiles will simply phase harmlessly through normal humans. In canon, his abilities only affect demons and those associated with demons (i.e. witches), but in RP, this definition is more flexible -- I'll generally have them apply to anyone with 'bad' supernatural/spiritual vibes, but we can discuss edge cases and exceptions!

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Nothing that will specifically trigger him. However, due to some backstory reasons, Dante has complicated feelings on the subject of prostitution and generally tries to help people leave the job if they want. Any talk of sex work or sexual exploitation of the needy will probably put him in a touchy mood.
